Lagos Coronavirus Patient Attempts To Escape, See Why

The Commissioner for Helth in Lagos State, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has confirmed twelve new cases of Coronavirus.

Abayomi noted that the new cases are nationals from Poland, Ukraine while the others were Nigerians.

The commissioner in a post on his Twitter account stated that out of the new cases six were discovered on a vessel.

With the 12 new cases, the toll of the state now rises to 44, the Commissioner said.

“#COVID19Lagos cases rises to 44 as @ 8.39 pm on 26th March 2020.”

“6 of the 12 new cases were discovered on a vessel and they include 2 foreign nationals; Polish, and Ukrainian, with other 4 Nigerians.”

“The 6 other cases are Nigerians. The response team of @followlasg #COVID19 is tracking to ensure those involved are subjected to relevant procedures to avoid the spread of the infection.”
