1. 2023 Presidency: Ex-APC Chairman Reveals Zone That Will Produce Buhari’s Successor

A former chairman of Ekiti state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, Jideu Awe, says the South-West region will produce President Muhammadu Buhari‘s successor in 2023 Presidency.

Naija News reports that the former APC Chairman made this comment on Saturday, January 18, in reaction to a statement by Miyetti Allah that the southwest region might fail to produce the next president in 2023 because of the inauguration of operation Amotekun security initiative.

2. Again, Father Mbaka Releases Dangerous Prophecy After Ihedioha’s Sack

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry in Enugu, southeast Nigeria, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, has released a dangerous prophecy on those against him for predicting the sack of Emeka Ihedioha as Imo Governor.

Naija News reports that Father Mbakam who has come under attack since the emergence of Hope Uzodinma as the governor of Imo State, released the dangerous prophecy on social media network, Facebook.

3. 2023: Finally, Yakubu Gowon States Stance On Igbo Presidency

Yakubu Gowon, Nigeria’s wartime Head of State, says he does not have any problem if power shifts to the Igbo for the 2023 Presidency as long as doing so would enhance peace.

Naija News reports that the General spoke in a special interview he granted to the Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Service (BBC) in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the end of the war on Wednesday.

4. Why Nnamdi Kanu May Miss His Parents Burial – IPOB

Supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu may be unable to attend his parents’ burial which has been scheduled on February 14.

This was disclosed by the group’s spokesman, Emma Powerful in a statement.

8. Amotekun: Atiku Declares Support For Community, State, Zonal Policing In Nigeria

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has urged the setting up of community, state and zonal policing to combat the security challenges facing the country.

The 2019 PDP presidential candidate made the call in a press statement on Sunday which was sent to Naija News newsroom.

9. Apostle Okikijesu Releases Fresh 2020 Prophecy About Buhari

The Founder of the Christ Apostolic Miracle Ministry, Apostle Paul Okikijesu has released fresh 2020 prophecies on President Muhammadu Buhari and others.

In the prophecy released on Saturday, the cleric stated that God revealed to him that President Buhari must have a meeting with religious leaders, including his religious advisers in order for his government to be meaningful.

10. Trump’s Lawyers Defend Against Impeachment

Donald Trump’s lawyers presented their line of defence on Saturday, three days before the opening of the President’s dismissal trial, a procedure they deem unconstitutional and “dangerous”.

It is the first time since the defence team was announced Friday by the White House, that it presented its arguments, modelled on those put forward since September by Donald Trump and the Republicans.
